Optimizing the Stage-Gate Process – Part 2


 The authors detail an efficient stage gate process for new product development that can be customized for IT Projects.

Part 1 discusses the following:
- A discovery stage at the front end of the stage gate process
- Using research more effectively

Part 2 discusses improvements to project selection i.e. "building in more effective Go/Kill decision points (tough gates) and moving towards portfolio management."
