A Framework to Achieve Business IT Alignment (Finally?)

CIOs have been under pressure to create value from IT and the usual answer to that problem: business IT alignment. The authors argue that this is easier said than done. Not because there is a problem identifying what to do - aka "IT strategy" - but the difficulty in implementing this strategy because of rigid technology platforms.
