This document presents an IT Governance framework. The author argues that common IT Governance Frameworks (ITIL, COBIT etc.) are too generic - they employ a top down strategic approach which does not translate into practical guidance for key components in the IT environment. Consequently, they are not suitable for complex environments. This IT Governance Framework has been designed for the challenges of governance in a diverse and complex environment.
