A key objective of this strategic planning is to create an efficient, insightful, and collaborative organization. It aims to create tools that address individual employee's needs, promote mobile working, utilizes cross-functional collaboration, applies machine learning to automate processes, encourages innovation, improves decision-making and harnesses vast amounts of institutional data to gain actionable insight into areas of opportunity and areas for improvement. Ensure a reliable, secure, scalable, and relevant infrastructure and applications through an upgrade of underlying technology components - hardware, software, network etc. - while eliminating obsolete technologies
This planning follows a business process review that identified current strengths and weaknesses and provided recommendations for improvement. It also incorporated lessons learned from prior IT Strategy development and implementation.
Formulating this IT Strategy involved leveraging both both internal and external resources; utilizing expertise from independent IT research and advisory companies to better anticipate future trends and changes in technology over the four-year strategy period.
This IT Strategy is a living document that will be continuously reviewed and adjusted to changes in environmental conditions, internal competencies, and organizational priorities, direction or resource allocation.
