The author contends that present approaches to enterprise architecture are unduly biased towards "structure" - enterprise architecture activity focuses on structure, at times, at the expense of other more important things such as the narrative or story. Story is natural to people. Structure not as much - although it can be learned. So, the answer may be the use of structure with interwoven story to get the best enterprise architecture for the enterprise to create maximum sustainable business value.
